As a part of Triagolnik’s commitment to develop the capacities of individuals, and hence of the communities and societies in general, for 10 years we work towards the development of the youth work profession. With the pioneer step that Trigolnik took together with the partners, Joncheping University and the South East European University (SEEU), finally Macedonia got educated and specialized personeel in the field of youth work as well. The purpose of this program is to educate and to professionally train the youth workers and trainers who will work on improving the situation of the young people, on maximum use of their personal potential and on encouragement so they can take active role in the community.

Bachelor studies in Leadership and community youth work:

As a result of the efforts of Triagolnik and SEEU in terms of recognizing and acknowledging of the youth work as a quality and necessary tool for working with youth, the Bachelor degree studies as a full educational program began to be implemented in 2011, accredited according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).

Master degree studies for Youth work in the community:

As a result of the effects and the positive changes brought by the one-year specialized program for Youth and Leadership in the Community, and then Bachelor degree studies, since 2012 began the Master degree studies in the field of youth work. This is the first program of its kind in Macedonia which will allow the creation of specialized academic staff at expert level that will be involved in the work with youth.

The methods of study include modern tools for acquiring knowledge and skills such as online lectures, study exchanges, engaging professors from the Jönköping University, and using domestic academic staff with experience in the issues explored in the framework of these studies.

The studies are conducted in English, and after their completion, the students gain a double degree from the Faculty for Public Administration and Political Science at SEEU and the Faculty for Education and Communication at the Jönköping University in Sweden.
