Youth clubs are places where all young people aged 12 until 25 years old, from different nationalities, have the opportunities to take part in different workshops, trainings and voluntary activities in line with their needs for personal and professional upgrade.

The themes are various:

• Creative workshops: creation of graffiti, making jewelry, drama, modern dance, photography…
• Workshops for self-confidence and assertiveness, non-violent communication, intercultural learning, communication skills, presentation skills, writing CV and motivation letter…
• Trainings for volunteerism and basis of community youth work, writing project proposals, human rights, leadership
• Free activities: watching films, playing social games ...

The main aim of the youth clubs is the implementation of youth work through non-formal education that contributes to the development of the capacities of youth and stimulates their active inclusion in the decision-making process.

Having into consideration the importance of the existence of a youth club in one community, TRIAGOLNIK has contributed to the opening of youth clubs in the following municipalities in Republic of Macedonia: Tetovo, Butel, Tearce, Kumanovo and Kavadarci. All the youth clubs are working as a result of the realized partnerships with the local civic organizations that work with youth and as a result of the successful collaboration with each of the municipalities. 

In 2009, these five youth clubs were branded under the name Proaktiv. The Branding came as a result of the already established practice of running a successful youth clubs that meet standards for quality assurance in the area of youth work, developed by Triagolnik.
Branding means that youth clubs work under established standards such as: developed training system that ensures that staff is trained to implement youth work through the use of non-formal education; established system for monitoring, support and development of the volunteers; established system for monitoring the development of the young people who visit the club; meet the security and safety standards, practicing a system of values that create environment where each young individual can receive equal opportunities to learn and develop its skills and potentials; implementation of a system for monitoring and evaluation at all levels.

The youth clubs Proaktiv are run by civic organization that work with youth in each of the municipalities. In Kumanovo, the youth club Proaktiv is under the coordination of Humanitarno zdruzenie – Majka, while in Kavadarci it is run by Sovet za preventiva protiv maloletnicka delikvencija – SPPMD, whereas in Tearce it is run by Centar za edukacija i razvoj – CED.
