| Active citizens create changes in their communities |

100 teachers and NGO activists from Tearce, Skopje, Kumanovo, Delcevo and Kavadarci started with the Basis in community youth work course. Triagolnik is implementing the Course in partnership with British Council in 5 municipalities: Delcevo, Kavadarci, Kumanovo, Skopje, Tearce, in the frame of Active Citizens project. In the implementation of this project, 100 participants will have an opportunity to go through this Course in six-month of length in order for them to became active citizens and create changes in their communities. After the completion of this course they will implement community action projects as part of the practical placement of the Course. The projects will focus on:
The implementation of the Course will be again in collaboration with the local civic organizations in each of the municipalities where the Course is being implemented:Sovet za preventiva protiv maloletnicka delikvencija – SPPMD from Kavadarci, Humanitarno zdruzenie – Majka from Kumanovo, Centar za edukacija i razvoj – CED from Tearce Active Citizens is a British Council programme launched in 2009 and is currently running in 20 countries in Europe, as well as in 8 countries in Africa and Asia.
